Payroll Assistant

THE CLIENT:
Our client provides high quality credit and debit processing solutions to recruitment companies and temporary workers alike. They provide an unquestionably premium service with their wealth of industry-leading experience and expertise from across both accountancy and recruitment backgrounds.
THE ROLE:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Setting up new contractors for payment
- Using the in house database and computer systems in order to run weekly payroll
- Inputting contractor hours in order for them to get paid
- Assisting with account preparation
- Posting remittances and purchase/sales ledger invoices
- Paying suppliers
- Verifying timesheets against signed paper timesheets
- Processing payroll, producing BAC’s files and payslips
- Dealing with all payroll related issues
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will be someone with previous payroll experience but not essential, looking for an excellent opportunity to join an ever growing organisation.
The candidate will have:
- Good mathematical and IT skills
- Possess good organisational skills
- Have a high level of integrity and respect for confidential information
- Good written and oral communication skills
