This multi-million turnover company is investing heavily in developing an Education Recruitment business and we are looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant or Team Leader candidate who is interested in developing their own desk and teams moving forward. You will be required to assist in the set-up of this new division, developing and growing an education team with a prominent and well marketed brand to represent. You will have the chance to structure your own desk, how you recruit and you will have the security of knowing that you have a huge corporate infrastructure to assist with back office, payoll and advertising.  This could be the perfect opportunity for a strong biller who is perhaps missing out on internal promotion within their current company.  This company offers genuine growth opportunities.  It is exceeding its targets and wants to further develop its staff. You will have the chance to grow a division as you want to.

Responsibilities include:

Taking responsibility for all aspects of leading the team

Setting up of an annual business plan, budgets and targets

Running a budget

Reporting regularly to Senior Management

Developing the School and Teacher base.

Generating new business

Building long lasting partnerships with schools and organisations

Recruiting and interviewing Teachers and developing relationships

Completing and maintaining day-to-day bookings

Canvassing and placing long term and permanent vacancies

Negotiating on fees

Exceeding targets

Undertaking effective client visits


  • A candidate with strong Education recruitment knowledge and billing history
  • Some Management exposure or the ability to structure the growth of a new business
  • A hunger to lead from the front in a billing capacity
  • The commercial awareness to be able to keep up with market trends; assessing and delivering strategic changes to maximise profitability
  • Flexible, able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Self confident and resilient.
  • Organised multi tasker.
  • Outgoing, proactive and dedicated.
